Another great podcast. The only thing that makes me sad is that I’ll have to wait a couple of months for the next installment!! Enjoy your much needed break and thank you all for taking a clear stand on these and the other issues discussed this season. I think you all did a commendable job on balancing being bold with gentleness. Have a beautiful summer!

Thank you for sharing. It was good to hear your words on this especially with all the heat around Butker’s speech.

“Rigidity can get in the way of grace” - such a profound line. Thanks for these balanced insights.

You are not as aware of your own blind spots as you think you are. You’re good on the women and nfp and TLM issues in the speech, and in this, Butker gives Pharisee clown Tim Gordon vibes, but you really have no idea what you’re talking about on the “antisemitism” issue. No clue. You are as dumb on this as Gordon is on women. You are NOT following the magisterium or scripture or history or morality on this issue. You are following the World. Humble yourself and educate yourself.

Perhaps you can more clearly explain what you are getting at? Also, just as a general point, people can be wrong about things and not be engaging in “group think”. There are only so many thoughts to be thought about a given subject (in a certain sense unless one is God.)

I'm sure you can figure it out. It would just take you all being open to the thoughts of certain Catholics thinkers, scholars, and influencers that you have canceled.

Good critique except the antisemitism crap. In that you are the reactionary ones engaging in group think.
