I really enjoy your Visitation podcasts and Emily’s writing/audio recordings. I’ve recommended them to my friends, my family, and my in-laws. So good. So deeply moving.
After giving up social media for Lent, I used those previous pockets of time (when nursing a baby, a nap time, or a walk kid-free!) for intentional reading/listening. You all came out with the Visitation podcast around the same time. Needless to say, I’m hooked and became a full-subscriber to Emily’s substack. (Now… does substack count as social media?! Your substack (Emily) and this podcast is pointing me to God and how to be faithful to His Will… so I’d say that’s a Lenten commitment more fully accomplished! My friends have let me know how much they enjoy your writing and this podcast as well. Your writing has brought them and myself to tears.)
