I would have liked to hear more from Clare. The married people took center stage with their perspectives.

I wanted to chime in and say that my husband and I met on Catholic Match fairly recently in January of 2018, then married in January 2020. We were from different states so we did the long distance thing for a year, then he moved to my home state. Same story goes for a high-school classmate of mine. So I’d say, it’s still bringing Catholic couples together.

Re: Catholic match. I met my husband in 2023 on Catholic Match and we got married this summer. We live in the same city and turns out we know all of the same people. It was a great way connect when there were limited opportunities to gather in community for 35+ group.

“The season you are in is preparing you to be the mother or person you need to be in 5 years or 10 years. If you don’t take advantage of the season, if you just resent it, you’re not going to be able to be who you’re supposed to be when you need to be it down the road.” Amazing. Applicable in all seasons. Great episode!
